Bridgwater is a charming little town located in Somerset County in the South of England. This town that is fitted with beautiful squares was before by the sea; it was actually a major port of the country. Bridgwater is rich in history since it is the place where the duck of Monmouth proclaimed himself king in 1685. The duck was later executed after loosing the battle of Sedgemoor against King James. Visitors in Bridgwater will be able to enjoy a peaceful walk along the canal or have a drink in one of the cafes and bars. To end a busy day sightseeing or shopping, many restaurants are on offer and the Palace nightclub is the perfect place to meet new friends.
