Davenport is a cosy town situated just southwest of Orlando near Lake Tohopekaliga and Lake Marion. With the central location, surrounded by rolling hills and land that was once used for citrus growth, Davenport’s central location makes it the perfect base from which to explore Florida. Disney World is less than thirty minutes away from Davenport. It’s also just minutes to Epcot, Universal Studios, Seaworld of Orlando, Wet & Wild, Gatorland, and much, much more. If you want to visit the beach, Tampa and the Gulf Coast are only one hour away, and the Atlantic coast is even less. Lake Tohopekaliga, or Lake Toho, as it is known by most Floridians, offers fishing, boating, camping, hiking and other outdoor activities.
