Liège is a major Belgium city located in the Province bearing the same name. This charming city can be found in the Meuse River Valley. Liège is the principal cultural centre of Wallonia. Amongst a list of interesting sights, the city features the Prince-Bishops Palace which was built during the 16th century on St Lambert Square, the Old St Lambert’s Cathedral, The perron which was a symbol of justice and St Paul Cathedral. Liège houses several museums including the MAMAC (modern and contemporary art), the museum of Wallon House as well as the museum of Art and Religious Art.
