The Prince’s Islands are located off the coast of Istanbul. It is a chain of nine islands, five large and four small, in the Marmara Sea. The only transport on these Turkish islands is horse and cart making them peaceful havens. Istanbul can be reached easily by ferry. In spring and autumn, Prince’s Islands are quiet and pleasant. In summer, they are popular amongst people looking for a tranquil retreat. Büyükada is the largest island. It is located close to Istanbul. Visitors use bicycle and horse drawn carriages or walk to discover this island.
