San Jose is a beautiful small town located in Almeria Province. It can be found near the protected area of Cabo de Gata. San Jose boasts a charming natural Park and a fine sandy beach. Located close to San Jose, Playa de los Genoveses is also a popular beach with shallow waters and rocky headlands. Playa de Monsul is situated 2.5km away and is surrounded by lumps of volcanic rock. An array of activities is on offer at San Jose such as bicycle, horse riding, boat trips, Land Rover tours and windsurfing. There are also some excellent seafood restaurants along the harbour.
